A strengthened Board and a renewed momentum for Cluster Yachting Monaco
The November General Assembly marked an important moment for Cluster Yachting Monaco, with several key developments shaping the association’s direction for the years ahead. These changes reflect both continuity in leadership and the integration of new expertise to support the Cluster’s mission within the Principality’s dynamic yachting ecosystem.
A warm welcome to new leadership
This year, the association is particularly pleased to welcome Richard Gibeaud—Founder of Posseidon, Vice-President of the Fédération des Industries Nautiques and President of the Parlement de la Mer Sud – Région PACA—to the role of Treasurer. His extensive experience across the maritime and industrial sectors brings valuable insight at a pivotal time for the Cluster.
His appointment follows 11 years of outstanding commitment from his predecessor, Laurent Certaldi, whose service and dedication have been instrumental in strengthening the association. The General Assembly offered its sincere gratitude for his long-standing contribution.
The Board also expands with the arrival of Vincent Huens de Brouwer, Managing Partner of Covership Insurance, who joins as a newly elected member.
Continuity at the helm
Members unanimously confirmed the re-election of Bernard d’Alessandri as President, as well as Arthur Bohr and Olivier Lavagna in their roles as Vice Presidents. Their ongoing leadership ensures continuity in the association’s long-term vision and its commitment to uniting and promoting the yachting industry in Monaco.
Strengthening the association’s governance
Among the important decisions taken, members approved the association’s Internal Regulations, marking a step forward in the formalisation of the Cluster’s operational framework.
In addition, a new biennial election cycle was adopted unanimously, a change designed to reinforce stability, encourage sustained initiatives, and allow the Board to implement long-term projects effectively.
Looking to the futureReflecting the Cluster’s ongoing dedication to innovation and knowledge-sharing, 2026 will open with an exclusive Masterclass by Prof. Dr. Phil Klaus, titled “The Future of Yachting Experience: What the Next Generation of Owners Really Wants.”10th February 2026, 9:30–11:30 a.m.
A collective mission
